This position is directly responsible for:
- The development and implementation of Card Marketing Acquisition strategies to maximize acquisition for the consumer segment, both ATL and BTL (through all channels Print & digital) across the Middle East and North Africa (18 markets, 3 languages).
- Managing Post Acquisition Early Engagement implementation and streamlining enhanced customer communication across customer lifecycle via the interactive route.
- Growing the Middle East online presence and focusing on customer convenience by enhancing Online Card member Services/other service mediums with value add features to create a best in class Online Solution.
- Strong Interactive experience with emphasis on the understanding of Digital Medium Marketing in terms of supporting Card Acquistion as well as enhancing cardmember engagement across interactive touchpoints.
- Strong working knowledge of marketing, operations and technologies practises.
- Superior communication and influencing skills at all levels of a business including presenting to peers and leading managers, and being able to effectively sell new ideas and solutions.
- Strong written and oral skills are essential to present to management, agencies, potential and existing clients and new partnerships.
- Sound analytical and forecasting skills are necessary in order to formualte appropriate budgets and plans.
- Planning and organizational skills are necssary to formulate appropriate budgets and plans.
- Appreciation of diversity and cultural sensitivities within the Middle East and North Africa.
- Sound problem solving and decision making skills essential to optimise the effectivness of the Marketing department.
- Ability to work as an effective team member within the department and as part of project teams.
- An evidenced record managing multiple projects at the same time, including making recommendations that effectively keep both short and long term objectives in mind.
- A flexible and consistent advocate for change supported by customer and cultural sensitivity.
- A track record of successfully driving digital improvements using strategic thinking, financial acumen and strong business and project management skills, evidenced through product enhancement or launch.
- Fantastic relationship building skills, both with internal business partners such as local market teams, central marketing and other partner groups, as well as external agency and vendor partners.
